Eye Illusions opened to great acclaim and interest! Crowds stretched for blocks around the block where the museum was. People in line stood patiently but enthusiastically waiting to see the magic mysteries inside the exhibition with their...eyes!
Throngs of many people had come from all around because there had been a very positive write-up in the Weekend section of the paper – the same one Jam’s parents had read and convinced them to come. Jam eyed everyone nervously. He knew it was simple kid-foolishness, but he couldn’t silence the howling of anxiety that perhaps all these people would see up all the things before he got a chance, leaving him a bummed kid with nothing left to see. But after long, the round cylindrical columns of the museum stood before Jam and everyone else as he looked at them and thought hard about what he might soon see. Pictures within pictures? How could that be? 3-dimensional images on a 2-D plane? How could that be? What is the nature or Art and why have humans striven to create things since the dawn of nature? Who know?
Jam had heard that some people weren’t even able to see the secret hidden inner images; people who weren’t even blind, people who could see normally but were, for some reason, incapable of seeing the neat illusions. Would he be one of these losers, he worried? He grew suddenly worried. Were you able to overcome not seeing them by digging deep into your inner-spirit or by asking for help?
“Here you go!” The ticket-handing-person tore Jam and his family’s tickets and they entered their way into the large exhibition hall of Eye Illusions!
